Daily excursions
While staying in Lefkada, you will find that you have many different options for excursions.
If you want to swim near the city of Lefkas, we recommend the beach of Saint-John, the Kastro beach, the Ammoglossa beach and the beach of the Milli.
Following the western rout, go to Peykoylia, Mylos, Saint - Nikita where you will find many beautiful beaches; Among them you will find the Kathisma beach, one of the most beautiful Ionian shores, with extensive sandy beach and crystal blue waters; the famous Porto Katsiki and the Egkremnoi beach.
In the Eastern coast, near Nydri, we recommend the beaches of Nikiana, Vlycho and Desimi and surely the beaches of Ammoysa, Kastri, and Agiofylli. Finally, the gulf of Vassiliki, in the south side of the island, is considered to be one of the best destinations worldwide for the water sports fans.
Dont neglect to visit the central areas of the island. During your exploration you will come across with scenic small villages and landscapes of exceptional natural beauty. Seek the Monastery of Faneromeni, only 1 klm from Olivetto Villas and experience one of the most beautiful sunsets of your life.
Another alternative option for a daily excursion is a visit to Scorpios Isle, the private island of the late Greek shipping billionaire Aristotle Onassis. A day to Cephalonia Island and Ithaca Island, is another way to spend your vacations.
